Kelly gets very intoxicated at a party and begins arguing with several of the other guests. Jen, the host, is nervous that Kelly will start a fight, so she brings Kelly into her room. Kelly lies down on the bed and says she is tired. Jen tells her to take a nap, then leaves Kelly in the room, locking the door behind her. Kelly immediately falls asleep. Jen goes in later to check on Kelly, and wakes her up. Kelly has sobered up a little bit and is able to rejoin the party. The next day, Kelly remembers nothing about the party. When Jen tells her that she had to lock her in the room to prevent her from getting into a fight, Kelly is angry. She files suit against Jen alleging false imprisonment. Will Kelly prevail?
